Founder's Associate

Sphaira is a Physical AI company building the intelligence layer for machines operating in human environments. Our platform lets robots perceive, decide, and navigate complex indoor spaces like hospitals and airports, integrating with doors, elevators, and logistics systems along the way. We started in one of the hardest settings there is: our MDR-certified mobile isolation pod MOBY has been in clinical use at Charité since 2024. Today we are developing the next generation with partners including UKSH and Mayo Clinic, and scaling from clinical deployments to a platform business. Tasks Commercial & Partnerships Shape and execute the go-to-market strategy for the intelligence platform across hospitals, airports, and other complex human environments Drive the commercial rollout of MOBY with hospitals, transplant centers, and healthcare networks, from first contact to signed contract Own early-stage partner and customer development: outreach, qualification, demos, and pipeline management Work directly with hospital management, airport operators, and infrastructure and logistics stakeholders to convert pilots into deployments Identify new verticals, integration partners, and channels where autonomous machines need to operate among people Founder Support & Company Building Act as the founder's right hand in day-to-day operations and cross-team alignment between engineering, product, and commercial work Build and refine internal processes as the company grows, including hiring coordination and onboarding Prepare materials for investors, partners, and board discussions, from fundraising decks to deployment reports Help shape a structured, scalable organization through a high-growth phase Strategic Initiatives Drive high-impact projects end to end, from first research to execution Work through hard, open questions across technology, regulation, customer needs, and market dynamics Operate as a true generalist, extending the founder's capacity wherever it is needed most Requirements Bachelor's or Master's degree in Business, Engineering, or a related field Genuine interest in AI, robotics, or autonomous systems, and the curiosity to understand how they work well enough to talk credibly with engineers and customers alike Experience in startups, consulting, business development, or project coordination; exposure to healthcare, infrastructure, or deep tech is a plus Strong organizational skills and the ability to drive things forward with little direction Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, comfortable with stakeholders from clinic directors to airport operators, in both English and German High level of discretion in handling sensitive information Entrepreneurial, hands-on mindset and the ability to thrive in ambiguity Benefits A front-row seat in building a Physical AI company from proven deployments to platform scale Direct exposure to fundraising, strategy, and company building alongside the founder Real ownership from day one and a clear path into a leadership role as the company grows A team of experienced engineers and roboticists, and partners at some of the most demanding institutions in Europe and the US Send us your CV and a short cover letter explaining why this role and Sphaira are the right fit for you, along with your earliest possible start date.
