A Day in the Life   The Cardiac Rhythm Management (CRM) portfolio is focused on advancing patient care through innovative pacing therapies, including the Micra Leadless Pacemaker system. This role supports market development, therapy adoption, and commercial growth by partnering with Electrophysiologists, Interventional Cardiologists, and healthcare institutions to expand access to leadless pacing technology. The position plays a critical role in physician engagement, clinical education, key account management, and territory growth across assigned markets. This role is based in Mumbai, India and follows a Flex work arrangement. Travel of approximately 35-40% is required to support customer engagement, therapy awareness programs, account management activities, and clinical case support across the assigned territory. Job Description field The Area Manager is responsible for driving adoption of Micra Leadless Pacemaker therapy within the assigned territory by building strong clinical and commercial relationships with healthcare professionals and key stakeholders. The role combines sales execution, market development, clinical engagement, and account management to support business growth while enhancing patient access to innovative cardiac rhythm management therapies. Primary Responsibilities Drive achievement of sales targets and business objectives for the Cardiac Rhythm Management portfolio within the assigned territory. Engage Electrophysiologists, Interventional Cardiologists, and other healthcare professionals to support adoption of Micra Leadless Pacemaker therapy. Develop and maintain strategic relationships with key opinion leaders, distributors, hospitals, and healthcare institutions. Conduct physician education, therapy awareness, and patient engagement programs to increase understanding and utilization of leadless pacing therapies. Support clinical discussions and provide case support during procedures in Operating Theatre (OT) and Catheterization Laboratory (Cath Lab) settings, as required. Identify growth opportunities through territory planning, account analysis, market assessment, and competitive intelligence gathering. Collaborate with internal stakeholders including Marketing, Research and Development, and Operations to communicate customer feedback and market insights. Maintain accurate sales reporting, territory documentation, training completion, and compliance with business unit requirements. Required Qualifications High School Diploma (or equivalent) AND 8+ years experience OR Associate’s Degree AND 6+ years experience OR Bachelor’s Degree AND 4+ years experience Must have experience in Cardiac Rhythm Management (CRM) OR Exposure to Electrophysiology, Interventional Cardiology, or Structural Heart therapies. Strong sales and key account management experience in medical devices. Experience handling multi-state territories and diverse customer segments.  Preferred Qualifications Experience supporting Cardiac Rhythm Management devices, Transcatheter Aortic Valve Implantation (TAVI), Transcatheter Aortic Valve Replacement (TAVR), or Impella therapies. Experience managing corporate and government healthcare accounts. Knowledge of cardiac electrophysiology procedures and clinical workflows. International Board of Heart Rhythm Examiners (IBHRE) Certified Cardiac Device Specialist (CCDS) certification.
