HCLTech Hiring Java Backend/ Quarkus Developer

**Role & responsibilities** - Lead the design, development, and implementation of enterprise-grade Java/J2EE applications using Spring Boot and RESTful APIs. - Drive architectural decisions and ensure scalable, secure, and high-performing application development. - Collaborate with business stakeholders, architects, and cross-functional teams to gather requirements and translate them into technical solutions. - Design and develop microservices-based applications leveraging modern cloud-native practices. - Perform code reviews, enforce coding standards, and ensure adherence to best development practices. - Mentor and guide development teams, providing technical leadership and resolving complex technical challenges. - Oversee application deployment processes, CI/CD implementation, and DevOps best practices. - Identify opportunities for process improvement and technology innovation within the development lifecycle. - Troubleshoot production issues and ensure application reliability, availability, and performance. - Stay updated with emerging technologies and recommend solutions that align with organizational goals. **Preferred candidate profile** - Bachelor's or Master's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field. - 8+ years of experience in Java/J2EE application development with strong expertise in Spring Boot. - Hands-on experience in designing and developing RESTful APIs and microservices architectures. - Strong knowledge of Quarkus, Java frameworks, and modern application design patterns. - Experience with Docker, Kubernetes, cloud platforms (AWS/Azure/GCP), and containerized deployments. - Good understanding of CI/CD pipelines, DevOps practices, and Agile methodologies. - Proven experience in leading technical teams and managing end-to-end software development projects. - Strong analytical, problem-solving, and debugging skills. - Excellent verbal and written communication skills with the ability to engage with technical and business stakeholders. - Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and drive projects independently with minimal supervision.
