JOB DESCRIPTION: MAIN PURPOSE OF THE ROLE Individual contributor that works under limited supervision. Applies subject matter knowledge. Requires capacity to understand specific needs or requirements to apply skills/knowledge. Responsible for maximising the effectiveness of the organisation's supply chain.   MAIN RESPONSIBILITIES • Collect and analyse data systems, procedural activities and information flows and assess the efficiency and costs of logistics processes. • Research operational costs, industry and regulatory issues and maintain a current and comprehensive database on which to draw for solutions development. • Use statistical modeling skills to develop, and cost justify logistics solutions to meet agreed customer needs. • Manage inventories and tactical planning, taking into account customer's future needs. • Manage /coordinate inter-company shipments and troubleshooting.   QUALIFICATIONS   Education Education Level Major/Field of Study or Equivalent Associates Degree ( ± 13 years)   Experience/Background Experience Experience Details Minimum 4 years  The base pay for this position is N/A In specific locations, the pay range may vary from the range posted.       JOB FAMILY: Supply Chain DIVISION: EPD Established Pharma LOCATION: India > Salcette : Goa Factory ADDITIONAL LOCATIONS: WORK SHIFT: Standard TRAVEL: Not specified MEDICAL SURVEILLANCE: Not Applicable SIGNIFICANT WORK ACTIVITIES: Continuous standing for prolonged periods (more than 2 consecutive hours in an 8 hour day)
