We are looking for an experienced **Backend Java Developer** with strong expertise in Java, Spring Boot, microservices, Kafka, and Kubernetes to join our team. Key Responsibilities: Develop and maintain scalable backend applications using Java and Spring Boot. Design, build, and manage microservices and REST APIs. Implement Kafka producers and consumers for messaging and notification systems. Work with MySQL databases, complex queries, and performance optimization. Manage application deployments using Docker, Kubernetes, and Helm. Integrate external systems, APIs, and Firebase/FCM notifications. Write unit tests, integration tests, and regression tests. Troubleshoot production issues and ensure application reliability. Participate in code reviews, technical discussions, and architecture decisions. Mentor junior developers and contribute to technical documentation. **Preferred candidate profile** Mandatory Technical Skills: Java & Spring Boot Microservices Architecture Apache Kafka Producers, Consumers & Consumer Groups MySQL — Queries, Indexing & Performance Tuning REST APIs, OpenAPI & Swagger Docker & Kubernetes JWT & OAuth2 Authentication Firebase/FCM Integration CI/CD — Jenkins, GitLab CI, or ArgoCD Helm Charts Git & Agile/Scrum Candidate Requirements: 5+ years of professional backend development experience. Strong hands-on expertise in Java, Spring Boot, and microservices. Experience with Kafka, MySQL, Docker, and Kubernetes. Strong problem-solving, communication, and collaboration skills. Ability to take ownership of services and work independently. Bachelor's or Master's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field.
